Project Summary

Who Would Win Masters is a weekly geek culture debate podcast where guests compete by representing their favorite fictional characters in structured 3-round battles. Its Beat Bobby Flay, for Geek Debate Club. Co-hosted with Ray Stakenas, I guide each episode as the referee and Host, helping shape the flow of the match while keeping the audience engaged throughout.

Each episode ends with my informal verdict on the winner, while the official decision is determined by the Patreon community. The show has evolved into an ongoing interactive format that blends debate, fandom, and audience participation.

Now in it’s second season and closing in on 100+ episodes.

Why It Matters

This project turns fandom debate into an ongoing competitive format, combining structured storytelling, recurring guest appearances, and community-driven outcomes. With 50+ episodes and a growing tournament arc, it demonstrates sustained audience engagement and a scalable episodic format built around participation.

What Made This Project Special

The introduction of tournament arcs and guest-vs-guest matchups expanded the format beyond episodic content into a larger evolving competition.
