Project Overview Who Wants To Do Some Math With Ms Okey is series of educational videos that blend sketch comedy and learning. Lead by Ms Okey, a for real teacher, children watch and learn as math is applied to real work, funny situations. From geometry to algebra, rollercoasters to film noir. It’s fun enough to keep kids attentions, and smart enough that adults will get a chuckle as well

Objectives

• Create educational and entertaining math kids that keep kids engaged
• Produce weekly videos

Challenges and Learning

• Editing wise these videos demanded a lot more than a simple TikTok or IG Reel. Dealing with 10 to 15 minute videos, required better compute power.
• The vision for these videos also required some unique onscreen text and graphics that required both collaboration with other team members and leveraging built in tools within Adobe Premiere as we weren’t using After Effects.

Results

• Children and Adults alike, including a few Math teacher replied with many positive reviews
• The top view earned 38K+ views
