I recently joined the cast of Who Would Win Podcast for a new series called ‘Who Would Win Masters’, taking the role of the Judge/Host/MC in this weekly geeky debate. In our first episode we asked Who Would Win: Daredevil VS Batman
Every other week we are releasing a Wrap Up episode where we look at the reviews and comments and the officially tally for who wins!
Daredevil VS Batman is a battle of two skilled vigilantes. Tech VS Super Senses.
On one side, you’ve got Matt Murdock — the blind lawyer by day, acrobatic Hell’s Kitchen protector by night. Trained by Stick, powered by heightened senses, and armed with his trusty billy club, Daredevil’s taken on ninjas, mob bosses, and even The Hand. (Need a refresher? The Netflix series is a must-watch — and yep, a 3 season box set is still out there! 👀)
On the other, Bruce Wayne — billionaire, genius, detective, ninja-trained by the League of Shadows. With a utility belt full of gadgets and a mind for strategy, Batman’s faced gods, monsters, and worse… Gotham’s worst. (Grab a Dark Knight action figure or throw on the animated series to relive the legend.)
Two titans. One winner. Let’s break it down.
🏆 Sam’s Verdict
This was a super tough starting match to bring me out of my retirement robes into the permanent seat trying to wrangle Ray! Daredevil’s enhanced strength, senses and his amazing martial arts training easily go toe to toe with Batman, but the one thing that off set the odds was
and not just toys, vehicles. Batmans default ride, the batmobile tipped the scales in my eyes

Winner: 🦇 Batman
Fan Vote: Batman 56% – Daredevil 44%
Close call, but in the end, the gadgets won the night. Daredevil may have heightened senses, but Batman had heightened everything else (plus a garage full of billion dollar toys, and the everyman vigilante just can’t take on the gadgetry of Lucius Fox).

Let’s get into some of the standouts…
First off, Mystery Suspect dropped a question that had me spiraling:
“Do the Batmobile and Batwing count as standard gear? If so, Iron Man vs Batman just got spicier…”
Okay, but now I need to see this match-up. Start drafting your dream teams, folks. Iron Bat incoming.
Look, I’ll say this. Maybe the Batboat, and Batcopter are things the Dark Knight would have to make a special trip to pick up, but the Batmobile that’s standard issue next to the batorangs. I’ll give it to him everytime.
Then we had Jude Fulton, who basically summed up what makes Who Would Win such a toss-up game:
“Clear paths to victory for both, but I could see DD catching Batman off guard in a first encounter.”
Exactly! And that’s why we put the pressure on our debaters to bring the receipts. This isn’t about vibes or who’s more popular — it’s all about the argument.
Meanwhile, Nathan Fair came swinging with the kind of point that’s hard to ignore:
“Daredevil’s been honing his senses since childhood. That’s not something you can out-tech.”
True, true… but try telling that to a billionaire with a grappling hook that can probably time travel. But also, Bats got a decade worth of training under his belt as well, his many gadetted belt that is.
Shoutout to Maxtheman1001, who dropped a tight little truth nugget I’m still thinking about:
“I think Batman won due to training and gadgets. But I was surprised how well Daredevil stacked up!”
Right?! This one was way closer than folks expected. DD brought that heat, and with different debaters taking up the mantel this whol verdict could be turned on its head!
And finally, Trevor J Hunt with what might be the most honest comment of the week:
“I’d go Batman, but I wouldn’t put money on it.”
That’s the energy we love. Confident… but also cautious. Just like Batman walking into a warehouse full of blind ninjas.
🌟 MVP of the Week
We said it in the episode, but we’ll say it again here: Snerts took the crown with a deep dive that broke down everything from shaky cam cinematography to why Batman’s club-bending glove tech might be more “meh” than menacing.
Here’s just a taste:
“Bringing in vehicles was a cheap move from Ray. There’s no equivalent for Daredevil. Same with Delvin arguing Batman is broken by the third movie. Combatants are at their peak for these matches… I wish Delvin leaned more into Batman’s lack of mobility. He literally can’t turn his head in the costume.”
